Last September we all went to Gubbio. Larry and I had originally gone there when we came here to go to school. However, it was pouring rain and we only had about an hour to look around. Instead, we stood under an awning and watched the rain bounce up about 2 feet! Larry took his mom to visit when I had my broken ankle so this was really mine and little Larry's first visit.
It is a beautiful area and was very green while we were there.

Thes pictures are great! What a wonderful adventure and retirement. I'm putting my house on the market as soon as they install the sump pump!

Those objects which you didn't know: they are some kind of objects for the prayers. When you will arrive to the church you could put those objects turning around and wish silently your pray. I suppose that you also could donate some money for the church. I recall that those object have been made by monks.
