September 26, 2006 We woke up to a very dreary day. It has been raining off and on since last night. And yet, it is still a beautiful sight looking out our window!
We were listening to one of our favorite artists (Angelina) this afternoon and when one album finished we decided to listen to her Christmas album (be
cause it is never too early to listen to Christmas music) and then, just like that, it was Christmas here in Belforte. A big truck pulled up in front of our apartment! Can you guess what he was carrying
? Yep, you got it--he had our luggage! I'm sure he thought I was nuts when I asked him if I could take a picture! I explained that we had been waiting for 6 days. He was very apologetic, but kept saying they had only
received them this morning! I documented the whole event as it unfolded. All three bags looked as heavy and as full as they were the last time we had seen them so I was feeling pretty confident that everything was still inside.
You can see by the tags that they wanted us to get them soon. I wonder how long it would have taken if the tag didn't say "RUSH"? I did learn several valuable lessons with this trip. If you think you will need it soon don't put it in your checked luggage
and if you want to bring margarine back with you, be absolutely sure you don't put it in your checked luggage! This is what mine looked like when it got here! The boxes were torn and the cubes smashed. I only hope that they are OK! Before you ask--I do not like butter and I already tried the margarine here and didn't like it either! Strange, but true!
Our day ended with another beautiful view from our window! The castello at night! It can not get better than this!

I loved this idea. My imagination would run out trying to figure out what things might look like. I must say you have a great way of explaining and describing situations but this is much better. I used the evening photo of the castle as my computer's background!! Thanks
